Our
brush hair or bristle is dipped in a gum solution (completely
water soluble) before shipping to protect the shape of the brush.
Before testing the quality of the brush, be sure to gently move
the hair or bristle from side to side to remove the material.
Always
wet brushes thoroughly (except bristle) to see how well they
point or give you a sharp,chiseled edge. The "spring"or
snap resilience can also be determined by wetting and applying
pressure in the palm of your hand.Ask for a cup of water if
none is available where brushes are displayed.This practice
is common.
